Lunch boxes with an oompH!

So my little man is going to daycare next week.  Yes full time.  Shock horror.

I have to fill in a thousand forms that require very similar information about my family and the little man.  Oh, and that very important form requiring us to confirm if he has any allergies - not applicable in our case.

I am also required to label all this belongings including his sheets and little Ralph Lauren onesies that he looks so handsome in.

Next... oh lunch box.

This first time mum has got a problem... should I get a big one that has different sections, or use separate containers for different food.. or should we get the ones that has a built in cooler brick? And do we need to get a bag for the lunch box?

I had to go online to have a look at the recommendation of fellow mothers.  Sheesh... didn't think something so simple will require such extensive research (yes, I do not have the luxury to make a mistake with this one as we do not have enough storage space for for plastic storage/containers!)

Here are some of the ones that caught my attention (oh, even the celebs babies adore them. How convenient :-) )  What would you have chosen?  Please do tell! Oh and wish us luck at day care next week :-)

Separate containers and stuff them all in a backpack solution.  Keeps everything nice and clean and separated, but then I'll have to look for a backpack or bag...

This just looks wrong - how does the pear and juice bottle fit in it?

Oh this one is so cute and cleverly designed to hold a drink bottle too.  Now where is the boy version? (courtesy of amazon.com)

OMG the Beatles Yellow Submarine lunchbox!

Nice and neat.  Oh but surely there's room for some cuteness for a little boy!

The Stanley Aladdin lunch box complete with cooler and thermos flask.  Looks like he's all packed up to go to Afghanistan lol

These little bags are so cute and convenient for little hands

Diamonds on my feet - and one to Giveaway

About 3 months ago, I had the privilege to be contacted by Relyquia about their debut collection.  I must say, I did think "more shoes... oh please don't let it be one of those overly marketed and poorly made shoes"

Oh was I wrong and so pleasantly surprised.  Blue Sapphire to usher in the cold autumn winds yet the yellow sun rays are still shining relentlessly in Portugal.  Oh this is just how luxury is and should feel like; nice soft suede, beautiful (and uniquely shaped) heels and delicate patent leather strap to offset the softness with an 'edge'.  My heartrate is going up as I write this :-)

Have you ever worn diamonds on your feet? No? Well, here's a once in a lifetime chance for you to win a pair of these babies - the Relyquia Ella Heels retailing at EUR 680.

Only a few days to go! Just enter the raffle below and be in the running to win a pair of these diamonds and you can truly have a Merry Christmas :-) Just click HERE or visit our Facebook page.  Just like my page and the Relyquia page, drop a few comments in their blog and you're in the running to win something exquisite!

I will be back soon to tell you about my very own Relyquia shoes - yea, photoshoot time!! :-)

Dress like Lizzy

The long weekend to celebrate the Queen's diamond jubilee in Australia is just around the corner.

Curious, I did a quick surf on Her Majesty's fashion preferences and golly, look what I found... wonderful splashes of colours and conservative but flattering cuts.  She definitely stuck to what works!

Do you have a style of your own?

Timeless pastels

 Always wear a smile!

Her Majesty in pastel and hey! accordion skirts are back!
The Queen colour blocking - loving how it brightens her up... Queen fashion tip: Minimal make-up when you're wearing bright colours ;-)
Hot Pink is now Royal Pink :-)

Queen-Queen and Future Queen

Stick to the colours you love, stick to the colours that lifts your complexion, be brave to explore different cuts, there's timeless fashion and there's YOU making fashion timeless!

Post photos of yourself dressing like a royalty on our facebook site!

When does fashion slide to eww...tacky? It's a fine line!

There's a fine line between fashionable and being tacky.  Make sure you know what to tone down and what to accentuate.  Look up our corsets --> now going with 20% off!

I have been wearing mine under my D&G satin jacket and skinny jeans.  Oh yea, can't go without the ankle boots can we?
Look at how these celebrities strut it outside the bedroom and make an O la la statement! ;-)
Rihanna, always pushing it!  I love it, very close to being wrong but she always stays on the right side of the fashion fence.
This is what I'd do for work - plain silk corset under a power suit.  Christina Milan definitely brought out the oomph with this pencil skirt
Check out our Alexander Wang inspired corset... there's a dress version too.
Mrs. Beckham now, Madam Beckham in this number - if only we all have pins like this!
I'm not too sure about this, Miss Kardashian... what do you think?
Charlize Theron always wears it elegantly... I might have to look for this corset for our store!!

Alright ladies, hope you enjoyed this... write to us, let us know how you wear your corsets! If you do not have any, well, it's time to give us a shout
